The Legacy of Malabar
Our name is inspired by the Malabar Coast, a historic region along India’s southwestern shore, known for its vital role in the global spice trade. For centuries, this region was famed for producing some of the world’s most sought-after spices, including pepper, cardamom, and cinnamon. By naming our restaurant Malabar, we pay homage to this legendary coast, reflecting our commitment to delivering the same richness and authenticity of Flavors that once travelled the world from these shores.
